The Hamner Barber Variety Show appeals to audiences of all ages and features the award winning illusions of The Hamners as well as the vocal comedy of ventriloquist Jim Barber who was recently featured on "Late Show with David Letterman" A talented cast of singing dancers rounds out this fun-filled show.
Stars of NBC's "World's Greatest Magic," The Hamners produce several enormous exotic birds. Their beautiful Macaws and Cockatoos appear amid flying cards, flaming swords, falling coins and jewels and then perform an incredible flight over and around the audience before gracefully returning to the stage. In 2006 the Hamners received their second prestiguous Merlin Award from the "International Magicians Society" as International "Entertainers of the Year."
Jim Barber has been featured on every major television network and his incredible vocal abilities as a singer and ventriloquist leave everyone talking. Jim was recently awarded the International "Ventriloquist of the Year" Merlin Award for his unique combination of magic techniques and ventriloquism. His one-of-a-kind characters and original, wholesome comedy have made him an audience favorite.
New this year is a magical, multimedia tribute to all Veterans. "Thank You's Not Enough."
During November and December the shows takes on a holiday theme as "The Wings of Christmas" takes flight. A Spectacular production featuring the best of their regular show plus original new music and breathtaking illusions that appeal to all ages.
The Hamner Barber Theater is conveniently located on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and offers safe, level parking and easy access to all guests.

This show was amazing, entertaining for all ages, the children in our group ranged from 7 to 14 and they all loved it. We originally made reservations to this show thinking magic, comedy the kids should love it and to our astonishment the adults loved it as well! I was so moved by the veterans tribute that I hugged the Mr. Barber and Mr. Hamner. The magic was amazing with illusions and spectacular bird show, the comedy was hilarious and had us all laughing the entire time. All in All the show was top notch in every way and can't wait to see it again. Don't miss this show on your next trip to Branson!!!

The show was pretty good. My 6 year old son really enjoyed it. We loved the birds. We went Thanksgiving week and the shows all did some Christmas in them, but this one did the best Christmas show of them all and the tribute to our Veterans was awesome.

This show was by far the best that my son and I had attended. We were laughing an amazed through out the entire show. It has been about 4 months since we had visited and are still talking about it. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A fabulous show.

This is the best show for families I've seen in a long time. It's fun its full of variety and its great for all ages. My 7 and 8 year old absolutely loved it and my friends 3 year old had a blast.

Iv'e known Dave and Denise Hamner for years and they personify greatness. Jim Barber is an amazing and very gifted performer who nevers moves his mouth what can i say other than wow. when in Branson please see there show , it's terriffic.

My family and I attended this show and I must admit , before the show I thought it would be cheesy. Boy was I wrong! The show was very entertaining in more ways than one. The illusions were great, my four year old really loved that part. The comedy was hilarious, my eight year old couldnt stop laughing. I really enjoyed the dancing and the cleanliness of the whole show, I wasnt offended by anything and it was totally family oriented. I would recommend this show to familys of all ages.

Dave Hamner won the Merlin award in '98 or '99 for close-up magic & he & his wife won it again in 2006 as Int'l Entertainers of the year. This award is comprable to winning the Oscar in the movies. Jim Barber was awarded the Merlin award in 2006 as Int'l Ventroquilist of the Year - 1st time given to a non magician. You'll rate this show as the highlight of your Branson trip!!!

My wife and I visited Branson during Spring Break the first week in April 2007. The Hamner Barber show was one of the finest shows we have seen any where in are travels. Great for families and Adults alike. The Illusions done by the Hamners were breath taking and unbeleivable. Their Bird act is the best I've every seen. Jim Barber and his comedy are not only unique but hilarious! This show should be a must see on your trip to Branson.
