Our Branson Bed and Breakfast is one of the historic homes of the Branson Area. We have 3 suites which are the Hillside, Hide-Away and Honeymoon.
Close to all Branson attractions and only three minutes away from Downtown Branson, and the famous highway 76 strip.
We are proud of our Branson Bed and Breakfast which is wooded, in a private setting and secluded from the hustle and bustle of Country Music Boulevard.
While staying in Our Bed and Breakfast you will enjoy the tranquility of times past in a nearly century old cottage filled with beautiful antiques from a bygone era.
We Feature: Fireplaces in some rooms, antique filled rooms, private hot-tubs, Jacuzzi bath, extensive rock porches, decks, remote color TV, wooded seclusion, private entrances and baths. Donel's extraordinary breakfasts served in our antique dining room.Photo Gallery

My sister and I stayed in the hillside suite at the Kite House. Mark and Donel were the nicest hosts. We loved our suite, our private hot tub, the complimentary tickets to the Grand Jubilee which features Mark in the show, (you'll see him all over town on the billboards), the wonderful breakfasts in the dining room, the great conversations with Donel, Mark and other guests, their two Pomeranian dogs, Ruthie and Shadow, their friendly cat that adopted them and the location (just minutes away from downtown Branson). We came as strangers and feel that we left as friends. Absolutely the best place to stay in town. Beats a hotel any day! We already reserved for next year. Probably would not recommend for people who don't walk steps very well. House is on a hill and there are lots of steps going up and down.

I used to think that B&B's were for the older folks. I have now changed my mind. My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Kite House, and I shall say that we plan to spend our anniversaries there too. The hosts are wonderful and the food is better than I could ever do. I have visited Branson quite a bit over the time of my life. This is the best place to stay. Please check into the honeymoon suite if you need a place for honeymoons. Donel and Mark know a lot about Branson and are very helpful with what is going on or places to eat dinner. The price you can't beat. Thanks Donel and Mark for the wonderful time. See you again soon.

On my first visit to Branson, MO in Nov. 2008, I enjoyed it although the weather was a bit cold. Donel and Mark are absolutely awesome people, her breakfasts are super, love the blueberry french toast. The shows are amazing and Mark is awesome in the Grand Jubilee, I hope to visit again in the summer and I would love to stay at the Kitehouse again. Very down to earth and comfortable, home away from home atmosphere.

I would definitely stay here again for a nice little get away with the wife. The room was clean, cozy, and nice. Breakfast was good. The location was perfect- the Landing in a few minutes, 75 strip in 5-10minutes, or west side of strip in 15min. (or less) by hwy 165. Donel & Mark were great to visit with. The show tickets were very good, better than expected. No complaints.

The tranquil, serene, antique setting is the most relaxing, peaceful refuge I've ever found. Each time I've visited, I feel like I've found the stairway leading to Heaven. Being at The Kite House healed my wounded spirit, gave me strength to take on life once more and offered hope that romance was still alive out there. We stayed 2 nights and loved it as much as the first time we visited. Donel is a treasure and a great cook. Mark's show is one of the best we've seen in Branson. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is a quiet getaway but close to everything too.

We have just returned from a four day visit, August, 2008. The rooms will remind you of going home to visit your mother. The hot tubs will help you forget that you are not as young as you use to be. The breakfast is better than you have ever made for yourself. And Mark and Donel are the friendliest couple you will meet. Stay here and have a place to retreat to at the end of the day.

My sister and I just spent 5 nights and four days in the Branson area. We had so much fun thanks to Donel! She told us about great places to see and eat; it seems as if she knows EVERYONE. Neither of us had been there before. The breakfasts and conversation are a great memory; it seems like we became "friends" instantly. Mark's show was very entertaining; I'm sure it is even more when he is feeling 100%! THANKS so much for making our time together SO MUCH FUN!

My sister Pat and I truly enjoyed our stay at Kite House Bed and Breakfast. We spent many hours each morning conversing with Donel while enjoying breakfast. She was kind enough to share some of her recipes with us! Can't wait to try them at home. Mark's show was fun. We had a great time! I was personally touched by the recognition of Our American Veterans - especially now as my oldest son prepares to head off to war in Iraq. We even renamed Hollister as The One Train Track Town!! We spent our 3rd anniversary at the beautiful Kite Home. Donel is a wonderful hostess. Mark was under the weather, I'm sorry to say. The show New South gave was one to remember. It was the best we had seen all weekend.
