We had couple's retreat, and this place was absolutely wonderful. The pictures are an understatement. And you can't beat the rate. Will definitely visit again!

This is the most beautiful place to stay!! We just got back and I can tell you that it is just amazing! There were 5 kids with us and they thought it was a dream! The pool table and dart board, heck the whole basement offered such a wonderful retreat for the kids!!! It is HUGE so you never will have a space issue! It is nestled right in the woods, so when you get there it is just breathtaking! The wrap around porch is the best!! It is so relaxing to just sit out on the porch and enjoy the sounds! The Fire pit is great and the kids love roasting marshmallows!! We stayed at two different places on our trip and as our second location was nice, we wished we could have stayed in Kirk's cabin the whole time!!! If you book this lodge, you will NOT be disappointed, I promise! Not only is it lovely and ginormous, but Kirk is a great, great guy! We had a little bit of bad luck on the way down to MO and he went out of his way to try and help!!!! So you get a great lodge and a great owner!!!! The only bad part about this place is having to leave!!!

Once a year we bring 11 of us, kids and grand kids to this cabin. During the Christmas season Kirk has the whole cabin decorated and lights it up inside and out at night! The kids always enjoy the big fire pit for roasting weiners and marshmallows. It's a lovely cabin and Kirk has everything and more you could ever need or dream of needing! The price is great and it's the best cabin we have ever stayed in. It's a home away from home...only nicer.

My husband and I stayed here this past fall and loved it. The lay-out of the cabin is great and would be wonderful for more than one family. We would love to bring our two sons, their wives and our grandson with us. The way the cabin is set up we could each have our own floor. We are actually thinking of trying to get reservations for a weekend in February. We usually go every fall and stay a couple of nights in Branson and then a couple of nights at Mount Nebo State Park in Arkansas. When we went here my husband said he wished we could have just stayed here the whole time. The owner has it so well equiped that you could just stay there and have a great time without ever leaving (TVs, DVD players, movies, sterios, pool table, etc.) The kitchen is very well stocked and there is a washer and dryer so that if you want to you can keep your clothing washed and not be faced with laundry when you get home. Like I said, it's just awesome.

My husband and I took our 4 kids to this 3 story lodge for our vacation. It was wonderful! The owner is extremely nice and the accomodations are the best. There is a pool table, t.v., laundry facilities. etc. It is only 15 minutes from the Branson strip, but so quiet and peaceful at night you think you're secluded in the woods. We are going back again in 2009. I would NEVER stay anywhere else on my trip to Missouri.
